Issuing separate press statements, the Confederation of Nepalese Industries and the Nepal Chamber of Commerce extended deep condolences to the bereaved members of the Dahal family. Senior representatives of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), including president Bhawani Rana, also visited Dahal’s family members to express their sadness over the untimely demise. Dahal, 36, who worked as personal secretary for his father, died of cardiac arrest on Sunday. Dahal, who was brought to the Thapathali-based Norvic Hospital at 5:50 am on Sunday, was declared dead upon arrival. He is survived by two wives and two children. His body was cremated on Sunday.
