Bomb goes off near front gate of Oli’s house in Jhapa
An unidentified gang detonated an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in front of the main gate of CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli’s house in Damak of Jhapa district on early Saturday morning. Oli is a federal parliamentary candidate from Jhapa-5.

Likewise, a blast occurred at a house of Nepali Congress Jhapa chapter President Uddhav Thapa on Friday night. Thapa is also a federal parliamentary candidate from Jhapa-2. The blast is learnt to have damaged his vehicle.
Jhapa SP Bishnu KC said that they have intensified the security of candidates following the blasts.
