Speaking during an election meet at Jogbuda in Dadeldhura on Sunday, PM Deuba said, “This constitution has ensured the rights of every citizen and everyone should work towards implementing it. Talking about direct elected president at this time is like tearing the constitution and it will only lead the nation towards autocracy and authoritarianism.”
The NC president during the address said that there has been immense development in education, health, drinking water, electricity and road network in his constituency and home district.
“I will carry on the development works here and I believe that you will give me the opportunity once again,” said PM Deuba, “We have plans to blacktop the dusty road sections, build a concrete bridge over the Mahakali River and develop the Parshuram Dham as a place for tourist attraction.”
This was the second time PM Deuba had addressed an election meet at his constituency following his nominations for the second phase of elections for the House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly slated for December 7.
