Monthly poetry series announced

In the second session, poet Hem Pravash, and lyricist Sushila Poudel recited their work. Organised at CityMax Bagbazar, Pravash and Poudel recited at least a dozen poems to an crowd comprising of several artists and writers. Giving the opening speech, Santipriya, the president of Chhayachhabi Creations, said that he will reconnect with literature through the literary gathering. He emphasised the inherent connection of films, literature and music and said that the event will become a cross-pollinating space between people who are working as filmmakers, writers and musicians.
Presiding at the event as the chief guest, Mohan Niraula, a writer, filmmaker and artist, said that the literary event will have a very positive impact in the cultural space of Kathmandu; Niraula also recited one of his poems at the event.
Pravash and Poudel were honoured after they presented their work. The organisers informed that the literary event will be held every month.
