Province 2 overview: NC leads in nine places, SSFN 8 and RJPN 7

Of the 32 seats of House of Representatives (HoR) in the province, counting is underway in 31 seats.
NC is leading two seats each in Saptari, Sarlahi, Parsa and Rautahat districts and one seat in Siraha. SSFN led by Upendra Yadav has taken leads in two seats each in Saptari and Dhanusa and one each in Mahottari, Bara and Parsa while RJPN is leading in two seats each in Sarlahi and Mahottari and one seat each in Dhanusha, Rautahat and Parsa.
Among the top leaders, NC's Bimalendra Nidhi is trailing behind RJPN candidate Rajendra Mahato in Dhanusha-3 by 1703 votes, while Upendra Yadav (SSFN) is leading in Saptari-2 with a vote difference of 5863 votes as of 3 pm. NC leader Pradeep Giri is ahead in Siraha-1. RJPN's Mahanta Thakur and Sarat Singh Bhandari are leading in Mahottari-3 and Mahottari-2 respectively.
