Left alliance urges to clear the deck for new govt formation

CPN-UML and CPN (Maoist Centre) has urged government to pave the way for the formation of new government.

Speaking in a joint press meet organised in the Capital on Sunday, the left block urged the Sher Bahadur Deuba-led government to clear the deck for formation of new government by upholding the public mandate given through federal parliamentary and provincial assembly elections.

The left alliance said that the Nepali Congress and the incumbent government have wrongly defined constitution regarding the new government formation, which undermines the pubic mandate.

UML Deputy Chairman Bhim Rawal urged the government not to obstruct the implementation of the new constitution.

UML Chairman KP Oli, Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, among other top leaders, were present in the press meet being held at Annapurna Hotel in Durbarmarg, Kathmandu.
