Tyre industry at a cost of Rs 500 million

The industry established at a cost of Rs 500 million would start its commercial production after three weeks.
Industry employee Binit Singhaniya said that four types of tyres – tyres for tractor, motorcycle, scooter and e-rickshaw - would be manufactured. The industry has been spread on three bighas of land.
The industry has set a target to manufacture 200,000 tyres annually for the time being. It has a target to manufacture 2 million of tyres of truck, bus, lorry, jeep and tractor annually. Tyres of Delta brand would be brought in the market in the first phase.
Singhaniya said that the investment of the industry would be expanded to Rs 2.50 billion within five years. Director of Bishal Group, Anuj Agrawal, said that the industry was established with an objective of substituting import. The raw materials used to manufacture tyres would be imported from India, he added.
