8 injured in Bhimfedi jeep accident, 2 seriously wounded

Bhimfedi Area Police Office informed that a Tata Sumo jeep, Na 1 Cha 1939, en route to Kathmandu from Hetauda plunged some 100 metres down the road.
Two including the driver of the vehicle, Sagar Khadka, and passenger Rupa Chaulagain are in serious condition, informed Bhimfedi Health Post doctor Amardeep Mandal.
According to another passenger Bidur Dhimal, the accident occurred while the vehicle they were travelling in was attempting to leave space for another Tata Sumo coming from opposite direction to pass.
The police have informed that there were 8 passengers in the ill-fated Sumo.
The other injured have been identified as Kinda Dahal, Srijana Chaulagain, Raj Kumar Ghlan, Jiwan Shah, Prakriti Manandhar, Bidur Dhimal. They have been brought to Hetauda for futher medical treatment, informed Police Sub-Inspector Bodh Prasad Yadav.
