Deuba trying to extend govt tenure: Bhusal

- Post Report, Kathmandu

Jan 3, 2018-CPN (Maoist Centre) spokesperson Pampha Bhusal has accused Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba of trying to extend the tenure of his government under different pretexts.

Speaking at an interaction organised at the Rafat Sanchar Club on Wednesday, Bhusal said that the government is trying to extend its term by dilly dallying to hold the National Assembly election.

“The government is trying to extend its tenure even after the Nepali Congress faced debacle in the recently held parliamentary and provincial elections,” she said, adding, “The government should hand over the power at the earliest on moral ground. The government should pave the way for forming a new government and holding the National Assembly election.”

She said that the new government under the left alliance would take the country towards the path of economic prosperity and create job opportunities in the nation.

Moreover, Bhusal said that CPN-UML and Maoist Centre will be merged soon.
