Bhusal said that the quake survivors are excited and reconstruction task has taken momentum after technicians reached at all rural municipalities and municipalities.
CEO Bhusal, who arrived in the district on a week-long observation visit along with a team of NRA, said the authority held an interaction with beneficiaries, local people’s representatives, political parties and local media for resolving problems of earthquake survivors.
The NRA is going to reconsider measures to address the problems facing some earthquake survivors who have already constructed house on their own after the technicians did not reach at some places on time, Bhusal said.
During the monitoring, he also noted the lack of workers for the construction of houses at some places. Similarly, Programme Officer at the District Coordination Committee Shanker Prasad Gautam said out of 4,144 earthquake survivors enlisted in the list of beneficiary in the district, 3,568 people have already taken first tranche of government aid.
