Project One includes bands such as Mukti and Revival, Robin and the New Revolution, Abhaya and the Steam Injuns, The Shadows, and Anuprasta. Project One was announced in November last year.
According to Bandwagon by Positive Vibes, who spearheaded the formation of the association, the visiting troop will include musicians Mukti Shakya, Robin Tamang, Abhaya Subba, Swapnil Sharma, and Niran Shahi. Alongside, the lineup of Project One will also include Hari Maharjan, Sharad Shrestha and Rajeeb Rinchhen Paljor, on guitars; Roshan Kansakar on bass; Nikhil Tuladhar on percussion; and Suraj Bista.
The upcoming series is the third iteration of the Feri Uthnechha Nepal concert series.
“The inherent aim behind this historic union of the heavyweights of Nepali music is to convey the message of unity through music,” said Bikesh Kayastha of Positive Vibes, “The Feri Uthnechha series was first started to inspire a sense of resilience in Nepalis after the earthquakes and to impart the message of unity at times the common folks have been disappointed by the politics of division. After the upcoming series, we plan to reach out to different venues and colleges across Nepal.”
Meanwhile, the first single from the new album put together by the newly formed band is slated to hit airwaves this week.
