- Post Report, Mahottari

Rastriya Janata Party Nepal has said CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal should lead the next government.

Party leader Sharat Singh Bhandari revealed about RJPN's support for Dahal as the next PM during a programme in Mahottari district on Friday.

"If left alliance needs our support to form government and implement constitution to ensure peace, stability and development in the country, we cannot support KP Oli-led government. Madhesi people have not given us a mandate to support Oli as PM," he said.

Bhandari said Dahal's role and importance in the country had grown further following the conclusion of three-tier elections in the country. "There are two important tasks still pending. Concluding the peace process to ensure peace and amend the constitution," said Bhandari. He added only Dahal could be trusted to complete the twin tasks.

"So we want the government under Dahal for conclusion of peace process, amendment of constitution and ensure stability in the country," he said. "This is a clear roadmap of RJPN."
