Rajan Bhattarai recommended for promotion as SC Chief Registrar

Bhattarai was appointed as the JC Secretary after became the senior most government lawyer.
According to a JSC source, Bhattarai, who was appointed as JC Secretary last year on the recommendation of Chief Justice Gopal Parajuli, has now been recommended for the promotion to the post equivalent to Chief Secretary.
Government lawyers, Judicial Administration and law are the three components of Judicial Service.
Nahakul Subedi was appointed Chief Registrar by the Judicial Administration a few months ago.
According to a source, Bhattarai was recommended to the post of Chief Registrar after Nripdhoj Niraula, who was accused of working in close coordination with then Chief Justice Sushila Karki, was transferred to the Commission of Investigation on Enforced Disappeared Persons.
