NOC hikes fuel prices

The state-owned utility has raised the price of petrol by Re 1 to Rs 104 per litre and Rs 2 on the prices of diesel and kerosene which will now cost Rs 83 per litre each. It has also hiked aviation turbine fuel by Rs5 to Rs 95 per litre for domestic carriers and by $1o to $910 per kilolitre for international airlines. There has been no change in the price of cooking gas.
The prices were adjusted with the increase in fuel prices in the international market, according to NOC Spokesperson Birendra Goit.
Despite the latest revision, NOC’s fortnight losses stand at Rs300 million, he added. (PR)
