A 13-year-old boy has allegedly raped a three-year-old girl in Krishnasabaran Rural Municipality-6 in Saptari district, police said. 

The boy raped the minor near her house Saturday evening. The accused lured the victim to go to his house and committed the crime, said police who have take custody of the boy for investigation. 

The victim is receiving treatment at Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital.In another rape incident, police arrested a man for allegedly raping an 11-year-old girl in Tilathi Koiladi Rural Municipality-7 on January 22.

The rapist over powered the victim and committed the crime while she was returning home from school. The suspect, according to police, took advantage of poor visibility caused by dense fog. 

Two girls gang-raped

MAHOTTARI: Two girls, aged 16 and 17, were gang-raped at Sonama Rural Municipality-2 in the district on Thursday.

A gang of four assailants took the victims and raped in turn. The victims are aunt and niece. The incident happened as the teenage girls went to the field to collect fodder.
