This year the expo will focus on showcasing advanced construction technologies, inspiring innovative products and services for maximum exposure and greatest reach in Nepal’s growing construction sector.
The expo will showcase construction heavy equipment, wood and woodworking machineries, prefabricated building structures, unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (UPVC) windows machinery, UPVC profile, doors and windows, architectural hardware, bathroom fittings, pipes, laminates, veneers, plywood, tiles and sanitary ware and roofing.
Likewise, pre-engineering building, power tools, windows, concrete block machinery manufacturers, earthmoving equipment, material handling equipment and timber and aluminum composite panels will be showcased at the event.
These technologies that are new to Nepali consumers have been tried, tested and proven internationally. The previous editions of the exhibition witnessed overwhelming participation of architects, builders, engineers, planners, developers, contractors and business people from the construction, infrastructure and wood industry making the
exhibition more development and consultation oriented, the organizer said.
The theme of this year’s expo is Build Nepal—Invest in Development, which promotes shared responsibilities and reiterates industry’s role and responsibility in the country’s development. The focus is on five key enablers: facilitating growth, competitiveness, promoting infrastructure investments, developing human capital and encouraging social development.
The exhibition is supported by the Nepal Engineering Association, Society of Consulting Architectural and Engineering Firms, Society of Nepalese Architects, Federation of Contractors Association of Nepal, Federation of Furniture and Finishing Entrepreneurs Association, Nepal Land and Housing Developers Association, Nepal Plywood Manufacturers Association, Regional and Urban Planners Society of Nepal, Federation of Heavy Equipment Entrepreneurs Association of Nepal and Confederation of Indian Industry.
