“Discussions are underway to manage political line and organisational setting. We are trying to come up with an arrangement that will be acceptable to everyone,” said Dahal, speaking to journalists at the Bharatpur Airport in Chitwan on Friday.
“I and Oli have no hunger for power as we have already worked as party chief and prime minister,” he added.
The Maoist Centre and CPN-UML will unify, sooner or later, Dahal said.
“Our discussions regarding party unification are moving in a positive direction,” he added.
In a different context, Dahal said the new government will be formed within February 18.
There is a possibility of forming a new government after the Election Commission makes public the results of federal parliament within February 17, he said.
“I have already met the President and discussed the formation of new government. The new government will be formed soon,” Dahal said.
