Trishuli jeep accident: Missing engineer found dead

Locals found the body of Santosh Yadav floating in the Trishuli River near Gomati Khola in Benighat Rorang-3.
According to police Inspector Sanjay Timilsena of the Gajuri Police Station, Engineer Santosh and the driver could have died after falling into the river.
The body has been sent to the Gajuri-based Primary Health Centre for postmortem.
Police informed that family members of Santosh have been called to hand over the body.
The jeep in which Secretary at the Energy Ministry Ramananda Prasad Yadav was travelling in was heading towards Kathmandu from Kapilvastu when the incident occurred at Sangla in Benighat on Saturday morning.
A rescue team had found the bodies of Ramananda and 15-year-old Unnati Gupta from the front seat of the vehicle the same day. Secretary Ramananda himself was driving the jeep, it has been learnt.
Jeep driver Niranjan Yadav, who was sitting on the back seat, was rescued alive from the Trishuli River.
