The protesters had reached the DAO office on Tuesday in support of Dr Govinda KC who had gone to the office to file an application for investigation into the matter.
Doctors, students and Bibeksheel Sajha’s Kathmandu Metropolitan City mayoral candidate Ranju Darshana are among the arrestees.
Following the contempt of court case against Dr Govinda KC, the Supreme Court (SC) directed to investigate the authenticity of citizenship document and education certificates of Chief Justice Parajuli.
Dr KC has charged CJ Parajuli of using forged academic documents, maintaining two citizenship certificates from two places and reducing his age to hold the top Judiciary post, among others.
