World is facing an ideological crisis: Bhattarai

Naya Shakti Party Coordinator Baburam Bhattarai has said the world has been passing through an ideological crisis and stressed on the need to muster up courage to give new thoughts like Gautam Buddha.
The former Prime Minister said so while inaugurating the fourth extended meeting of the party held in Lumbini on Wednesday.
Saying that they arrived in Lumbini to provide new thoughts, leader Bhattarai said that they would step into the work place with a new resolution.
“Right wing Hindu fundamentalists are also becoming active in India. There is ideological crisis in China as well. US President Donald Trump has been moving in a wrong manner,” he said, adding, “We have again made a daring move. We can take the leadership of the same.”
“Politics has gone haywire, corruption has been promoted in different layers of the society,” Bhattarai said. “Revolutionaries of yesterday have been tainted with corruption. That is why, we have started a new politics for transformation,” he added.
Saying that he did not want to spread an illusion that the Naya Shakti Party would not be a largest party in a day, he said that old political parties themselves have been passing through problems.
Leader Bhattarai said that the Naya Shakti will step into its working arena by treating its diseases and with a new resolution.
The Naya Shakti party said that 800 representatives from Nepal and other countries attended the conclave.
The extended meeting of the federal council will fix the date for General Convention by taking various important decisions.
