The Maoist supremo, who had reached the PM’ official residence with the name list of ministers, is holding a meeting with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
Though the ministries have almost been finalised, PM Oli is concerned over some ministries and ministers.
PM Oli, who is also the Chairman of CPN-UML, has already finalised the name list of his party’s ministers.
According to a source close to leader Dahal, leaders will hold a discussion once after the name list of ministers of both the parties is collected.
PM Oli will hold a discussion with UML senior leaders and former Prime Ministers Madhav Nepal and Jhalanath Khanal over the name list of ministers.
A notice has already been sent to Sheetal Niwas to carry out preparation for the swearing in of the ministers.
The Sheetal Niwas is preparing to organise a swearning in ceremony of ministers at 4 pm today.
Though PM Oli was preparing to expand the Cabinet on Sunday, the plan was postponed for today as Maoist Centre Chairman Dahal was in his home district to attend a programme.
The Maoist Centre is preparing to join the government under the leadership of Ram Bahadur Thapa (Badal).
It has been learnt that Thapa will take the responsibility of Ministry of Home Affairs.
The UML, however, is facing a hard time to pick the minister for Finance as most of the leaders are lobbying for the post.
Oli was appointed the 38th Prime Minister of Nepal on Feb 15 with support of the Maoist Centre.
The Cabinet has not got a full shape yet due to delay in the allocation of ministerial portfolios between the two parties.
