Inaugurating the 36th establishment Day of Nepal Magar Association and 26th National Assembly in the Capital on Tuesday, Minister Thapa said the country will not witness prosperity without peace and good governance.
“Corruption, nepotism and favoritism will not continue any more in the country,” he assured.
Saying that economic development and prosperity are essential to create job opportunities at home for the people living abroad for work, Minister Thapa said that incumbent government will work for a long-term peace and economic development.
He said that though Magar community has played an important role to build the country, the community has not got rights as expected.
“Though Magars have got some rights at the government level, the community hasn’t got the due priority in other sectors,” he said.
