SC directs Dr KC to appear before court within 3 days

Responding to a new complaint filed by Govinda Bohara on February 22 relating to a contempt of court case, a single bench Chief Justice Gopal Parajuli this afternoon directed Dr KC to show up before the court within the given time frame.
With this case, three cases are pending against Dr KC in the SC.
Dr KC on February 21 had denied accepting the scheduled hearing on his earlier case relating to contempt of court stating that CJ Parajuli has a vested interest in the hearing and, because there is a conflict-of-interest.
Senior orthopedic surgeon at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) Dr KC has been demanding resignation of CJ Parajuli and investigation into the authenticity his citizenship certificate.
