Theatre act Mandragora Circo making rounds across Nepal
Mandragora Circo, a wordless theatre performance put together by two Argentine artists donned as Clowns, is currently being staged in cities across Nepal. Mandragora Circo also features circus stunts, music and unconventional instruments, prompting the audience to imagine situations, conflicts and their solutions. The troupe comprises of three Argentine artists—Mariana Silva, Juan Cruz Bracamonte and Andrea Díaz.
The show is put together by the Mandragora Circo theatre group from Argentina, which over the past eight years has performed in 42 countries.
Besides performances, the group also offers workshops to theatre artists in cities across the world.
The tour kicked off with a workshop and performance in Pokhara on March 10 and will run till March 23, over the course of which the group will travel to cities such as Birtamode, Kathmandu and Biratnagar. After the conclusion of Nepal tour, the troupe will travel to India, China, Mongolia, Sri Lanka, Portugal and Poland.
