A man died in an explosion in Ilam on Saturday evening. Police said Bikas Rai of Ilam Municipality-9, who was seriously wounded in the incident, died on the way to hospital.

Rai was reportedly preparing the explosives for fishing when there was a sudden blast. Police are investigating into the incident.
