The Feminist Memory Project announced

Mar 13, 2018-Nepal Picture Library, a digital photo archive established in 2011, has recently announced The Feminist Memory Project, an undertaking to collect historical photographs and audio or written documents relating to the history of feminism in Nepal.

With regards to this, the applications for two research fellowship positions have also been announced. The fellows will gather all the materials as well as research on the chronology of Nepal’s feminist movement as well as the efforts of trailblazing women.

The findings of this project will be adapted by educational curricula in various schools as well as colleges.

The archived materials will also be exhibited in the photo exhibit, Photo Kathmandu, slated to take place from October 12 to November 16, 2018.
