The CDC meeting held at party office in Dhumbarahi said personal interests, immoral activities and indiscipline are rampant in the party and there is no restraint on such activities by the leadership.
CDC Chairman Amrit Bohora said, “We have drawn the attention of the party’s leadership towards this problem.”
Many party committees have been inactive for a long time and the meetings of the party’s central to preliminary levels committees are not held in an appropriate manner.
Issuing a press statement following the meeting Chairman Bohora pointed out that all the procedures and systems were gradually weakening.
The meeting also pointed out that not only the local party committees the sister wings, including All Nepal Women Organisation, Youth Association Nepal and All Nepal National Free Students Union remained indifferent to the issues of social concerns.
Besides the CDC meeting expressed sadness for not taking appropriate actions to control the social stigmas, including the increasing incidents of rape, murder and attacks on women on wild charges like ‘witches’.
The CDC has also raised a serious question claiming that they have been gradually detached from political and ideological perspectives.
CDC has also decided to nominate Raj Narayan Sah as the member of the Commission and Shiva Bahadur Deuja as the office secretary.
