The Ministry of Home Affairs has unveiled an 82-point reform plan for its subordinate bodies.
Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa made public the plan formulated after identifying 10 different sectors in the Capital on Monday. One of the resolutions is publicising the details of expenditures over Rs25,000 on the ministry’s official website.
The Home Ministry also plans to establish at least one police unit in each local level by mid-July and recall personnel without specific security assignments from mid-April.
