A meeting of two top leaders of the left alliance has failed to make any headway on party unification.
CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and CPN-UML chief and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli resumed one-to-one talks to narrow down their differences on Friday.
Maoist sources see unification as “difficult” as the UML backtracked on its promise for equal share in the unified party. However, UML leaders said the talks had been positive. (PR)
