NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba had summoned the meeting to nominate officials at 8:30 am today.
Leader Poudel said that he is boycotting the meeting summoned by the party President as the nominations was against the agreement and was being done without amending the party statute.
“We have decided not to take part in today’s meet as it was summoned against the statute and agreement,” said Poudel.
Both leaders are preparing to send several leaders from their side including Prakash Man Singh in the meeting to express their views.
The nomination process of party office bearers have failed to take place even after two years despite the party statue dictating that the nominations should be completed within 2 months. However, President Deuba claimed that it is a normal practice and has been adopted by his predecessors as well.
