A bowl of a measure atop a mountain

Sits still magnificent Rara Lake

Contemplating in the beautiful-est of blues

Hemmed around in the lush-iest of greens

Carpeted with flowers of all colours and hues

Sits still Magnificent Rara Lake

Dawn-rays spearheads deep into the Heavens

Past pinnacle peaks that from high up above

Peeks down at its own snow crowned tops

Mirrored in the Magnificent Rara Lake

Till past noon when whistling breezes

Send crescent ripples lap-lapping to the shores

Ruffled thus, shimmering, twinkling in sparkling lights

Moves Magnificent Rara Lake

Neither too high, nor rich, nor vanity bound

Nor muddled in man’s mundane madness

Pristine, serene, silent, tranquil yet fully alive

Rara cleanses the Soul at the very first sight

When you see Breathless Beauty

In a Face, in a Painting, in Creation et al

And words grandeur does not fit your call

Whisper soft Wooo. . . RARA!

A new word for all languages and speech to use

To express awe from deep within

When Beauty simply defies description

Scream out: Waaah. . . RARA!
