Nepal Communist Party Chairmen KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal visited the party offices on Friday. A day after unification between the two communist parties on Thursday, the duo visited the UML headquarters at Dhumbarahi and the Maoist central office at Perisdanda.

 According to leader Krishna Gopal Shrestha, both the co-chairs had decided to observe the facilities before setting up their joint offices. An NCP source said Dhumbarahi would become the headquarters of the unified party while the Perisdanda property would host the offices of other committees and sister wings.

Members of the party’s central secretariat Madhav Kumar Nepal, Bam Dev Gautam, Narayan Kaji Shrestha, Bishnu Poudel, Ishwor Pokhrel and Ram Bahadur Thapa accompanied the chairmen in the visit. (PR)
