Bethany Richards, aka Pink Riches, is the founder and host of the radio show Breakfast at Bethany’s. According to the artist, she is interested in the human experience and in exploring individual truth and perspective through storytelling. Her current works are influenced by Hindu and Buddhist sources and seek to gain a comparative understanding of the way cultures perceive and execute living and learning.
Bidhata KC has been lauded as one of the most “pertinent” contemporary artists around and has been the recipient of Nepal’s most prestigious contemporary art award, the Arniko Yuwa Puraskar. Her works span various media including printmaking and multimedia installations. KC’s works tap into the conflicts involved in maintaining a balance between modernity and eroding traditional values.
Graham Blackshaw is a Los Angeles based DJ/Producer, and is the founder of clothing brand, Karmalooms. Of late, Blackshaw has been mixing and producing meditation and yog based music sets as well as working on a blues record. Likewise, Salil Subedi is a musician—a well known didgeridoo player, performance artist, and writer and is the founder of Himalayan Culture Mill which runs the famous conservation drama troupe Earthbeat Live.
The exhibition will start on May 27 and conclude on June 8.
