A woman of Kanchanpur district killed her husband in collaboration with her boyfriend in Kailali district.
Laxmi Badaila, 21, colluded with her lover Dipak Khatri and murdered her husband Tej Bahadur Bista, 24, of Punarbas, Kanchanpur. Badaila had called her husband Bista at her parental home in Olani, Kailali, and took him to Bhasubhir along the Bhimdutta Highway in Godawari Municipality, Kailali.
Badaila and Khatri thrashed Bista leaving him unconscious. The pair then threw Bista down the cliff.
Bista’s mother had filed a missing case of her son to the police on Friday. SP Binod Ghimire said police arrested Badaila and Khatri and interrogated them about the murder. He said Badaila has admitted to killing her husband with help from her lover Khatri.
