Two school girls have been swept away while returning to home from school at Bauligad Khola in Bajhang district.
The girls were crossing the river when they fell into it on Friday after a makeshift wooden bridge collapsed, police said.
District police said body of Bimala Bohora, 14, of Surma Rural Municipality on Friday while bodyof Renu Bohora, 8, was found only on Saturday afternoon. Renu was swept some four kilometers downstream when her body was recovered.
Both the girls were students of Aadhabagar Secondary School. Their bodies have been handed over to their relatives after autopsy at Bajhang Hospital, police informed.
