Opposition leader Sher Bahadur Deuba had requested Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to wait until his return from his Singapore.
“PM Oli has postponed the CC meeting after opposition leader requested him to wait until he returns home in a week,” said Bishnu Rimal, chief advisor to PM Oli. Deuba is leaving Kathmandu for Singapore on Wednesday for his health check up.
The CC meeting was expected to pick the name of Chief Justice and vacant positions of the anti-graft body Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) including its Chief Commissioner which is vacant for the last six months.
