HH Bajaj, the sole distributor of Bajaj motorcycles in Nepal, has launched the all-new Pulsar 150 TD (Twin Disc). The much-awaited Bajaj Pulsar 150 TD comes at an introductory price of Rs255,900.

The Bajaj Pulsar 150 TD features twin disc brakes, sharper design and new colour schemes. It is available in three dual tone colours—black blue, black red and chrome black.

Apart from the dual disc brake set-up, the new Pulsar 150 also gets split seats, split grab rails, longer wheelbase and a wider and fat 37 mm front fork and wide 120 mm rear tyre. The Pulsar 150 TD variant has also undergone significant improvements in noise, vibration and harshness due to the optimization of engine and chassis touchpoints.

The company said that the new Pulsar 150 TD was targeted at modern youths who get comfort in performance and mileage but also look for a sportier option. The Pulsar 150 TD is a no-frills variant of the new Pulsar 150 which skimps on the graphics, long wheel base, sporty split-seat, rear disc brake and relatively low cost.

The thoroughness of the 4-stroke DTS-i engine remains the same overall, displacing the same 149.5 cc, and putting out 14 PS at 8,000 rpm and peak torque of 13.4 NM at 6,000 rpm. It has a top speed of 110 kmph and weighs 144 kg. The fuel tank has a capacity of 15 litres.

A high ground clearance of 165 mm ensures a smooth and comfortable ride on all terrains. Following the trend of modern bikes, the Pulsar 150 TD comes equipped with a 5-gear system. Other new features are wet multi-plate clutch, air cooling system and 5-Map CDI ignition system. The three new colours are available exclusively for the twin disc variant of the Pulsar 150.

Shekhar Golchha, managing director of Hansraj Hulaschand Co, stated that one key factor behind Bajaj leading this market is its focus on outstanding product design and superior engine technology.

“When it comes to product design and engine technology, Bajaj has always proved to be outstanding. With the addition of this powerful model, we are continuing its legacy. And with this new addition to the Pulsar family, we shall again steer the conception of a new industry segment. We are confident that the Pulsar 150 TD will meet riders’ expectations.”
