British envoy Morris calls on Deputy Speaker Tumbahangphe

During the meeting held at the office of Deputy Speaker in Singh Durbar this afternoon, the duo discussed bilateral relations between Nepal and Britain, formulation of laws in Nepal and parliamentary practice.
Saying that Britain is holding a conference of women lawmakers of the world in November to celebrate 100 years since the first women were granted the vote in Britain, ambassador Morris extended invitation to Tumbahangphe to take part in that conference.
Thanking the government of Britain for the invitation, Tumbahangphe expressed her hope that the two countries would exchange parliamentary process and practice.
Similarly, saying that the problems of women in the world are common apart from culture and religion, Tumbahangphe expected that such problems would be discussed in the conference.
Likewise, Morris expressed his conference over the formulation of laws in Nepal and formation of parliamentary committees among others.
