Singapore put up a total of 151 runs losing all its wickets in the 42nd over after winning the toss and electing to bat.
In return, Nepal began their innings with a promising start with Anil Sah scoring 43 runs before being bowled by Karthikeyan Subramanian in 10.2 overs.
Two back-to-back-wickets in the 14th over of captain Paras Khadka and Subash Khakurel sparked some hope for the Singaporeans. Skipper Khadka continued his poor form and lost his wicket to Anantha Krisha in 13.2 overs scoring just 11 runs and Subas Khakurel (14) returned back to the pavilion just two balls later after being caught by Mutreja.
Middle order batsmen in today’s game—Gyanendra Malla and Dipendra Singh Airee; stabilised the Nepali innings and scored 29 and 33 runs respectively.
Selladore Vijayakumar and Anantha Krisha took two wickets each for their team while Karthikeyan Subramanian and Sharan Swaminathan bagged one each.
Earlier, Chetan Suryawanshi was the star batsman for Singapore as he scored 60 runs followed by 31 runs from Anish Paraam and bottom order batsman Karthikeyan Subramanian put 20 runs on the scorecard. Other batsmen for Singapore failed to score in double digits thanks to disciplined Nepali bowling.
For Nepal, Sandeep Lamichhane and Lalit Rajbanshi too three wickets each while Sompal Kami claimed two and Basanta Regmi got one as well.
