Speaking to journalists in Biratnagar on Tuesday, Yadav, who is also the minister for health and population, said the party had grievances and differing views when the constitution was promulgated and the problems would be resolved through the constitutional process. “Our political course has changed after the polls. We have entered the constitutional process after the formation of three levels of government,” Yadav said. “Now, we will move ahead through the amendment of constitution.”
Explaining that the necessary laws are being drawn up at present, Yadav said that “we will enter the constitution amendment phase once the law enactment process gets over”. The government has formulated important laws related to fundamental rights, he continued, “Law on citizenship is on the cards and the first phase will be over after the formulation of some other new laws.” (PR)
