Addressing the 15th annual general assembly of Nepal Tourism Transportation Entrepreneurs Association in Kathmandu on Wednesday, Dahal said the state should promote production and encourage the entrepreneurs for economic development. “The government should create the environment for business, security and guarantee of profit. It is necessary to enact laws for the same,” he said. “Good work should be awarded for the development of production and employment-generating sectors.”
He said it is an illusion to believe that foreign tourists would come to visit Nepal unless the environment and necessary facility is created for domestic tourists. “We should get rid of the mindset that only the people with white-skin are tourists,” said Dahal.
He went on to say that the business and entrepreneurs have not been able to improve due to the wrong conception that they are cash cows. “We should shake off the belief that the businessmen should be squeezed as much as possible,” he noted.
