Indian petro Minister arrives to discuss petro pipeline, gas import

According to Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) spokesperson Birendra Goit, Indian Minister Pradhan and his team landed at the Tribhuvan International Airport at 9:30 am this morning.
“The Indian Minister and his team will observe and hold discussions on the under construction petroleum and gas pipelines,” said Goit adding that the visiting Indian Minister will also hold discussions with various authorities involved in the construction of the pipeline.
The meetings will discuss on issues regarding the modality of construction of petroleum pipeline from Amlekhgunj to Chitwan and the import of petrol and gas.
Earlier, on Thursday, a meeting scheduled to be held between high level officials of Nepal and India was put off at the last moment.
