Assistant Sub-Inspector Har Singh Dhami and Constable Chandani Saud have been suspended for their alleged involvement in destroying the evidence.
Saud was found washing the clothes of Nirmala in the video while she, during the interrogation, had admitted washing the clothes "unintentionally."
Nepal Police spokesperson SSP Sailesh Thapa said that both of them have been suspended as they were found negligent during the investigation.
Earlier, the government had suspended then SP of Kanchanpur SP Dilli Raj Bista, DSPs Angur GC and Gyan Baharu Seti, Inspectors Jagadish Bhatta and Ekendra Khadka and Sub-Inspector Ram Singh Dhami for their negligence in the investigation.
A report submitted by a high-level probe committee formed by the Ministry of Home Affairs on Sunday had concluded that Kanchanpur Police made several lapses while investigating the rape and murder of Panta.
The panel led by Joint-secretary Hari Prasad Mainali was formed on August 23 to find facts about the gruesome incident that has rocked the country. One person lost life and more than a dozen were injured when police used force to curb demonstrations in Mahendranagar in August.
Body of Nirmala was found on a sugarcane field in Bhimdutta Municipality of Kanchanpur on July 27, a day after she was reported missing. Postmortem report showed that the teenager was raped and strangulated to death.
