ICC World T-20 Qualifiers Asia: Nepal ease past China, chase 27-run target in 2 overs

Nepal registered a thumping 10-wicket victory against China in just two overs in the ongoing ICC World Twenty-20 Qualifiers Asia (Eastern Region) being held in Malaysia on Wednesday.

Nepal won the toss and invited China to bat first.

China’s batsmen were feeble against Nepal’s bowling attack as they were all out just scoring 26 runs in 13 overs. Eight of the Chinese batsmen were out for duck.

In response, openers Binod Bhandari and Pradeep Airee scored 24 and 4 runs respectively for Nepal to completed the chase in just two overs. Bhandari hit three fours and one six in eight balls.

For Nepal, Sandeep Lamichhane, Lalit Narayan Rajbanshi and Basanta Regmi took three wickets each.

Lamichhane was declared man-of-the-match. He has already taken 20 wickets in the tournament.
