Ailing PM meets ministers in hospital

Though the doctors have advised against meeting visitors to avoid further health complication, the PM held meetings with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence Ishwar Pokhrel, Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa and Energy Minister Barsha Man Pun.
In his meeting with DPM Pokhrel and Thapa, the PM discussed contemporary issues, security situation of the country and shooting incident in Sarlahi district where a Nepali Congress cadre was killed.
According to the sources, issues related to party unification was also figured during the meeting with both Pokhrel and Thapa. Pun, who returned from a foreign trip, also apprised the PM of issues related to his ministry as well as his visit.
“The PM has slept well and taken his food comfortably. We have advised him to rest for a few more days in hospital,” Dr Arun Sayami said.
Hospital’s Director Dr Uttam Krishna Shrestha said PM is responding to treatment well. “The PM’s health has been improving every hour since he was admitted to hospital on Monday. He has been advised to stay in hospital for a few more days.”
In its bulletin on Wednesday, the hospital has said the reports of medical tests conducted on PM Oli in the morning were satisfactory and there has been further improvement in his health.
