2 foreigners die in separate incidents in Solukhumbu

One of the victims is from Austria and the next is from Ukraine, police said.
The Austrian national is identified as 29-year-old Gill Samsi Vera. She died after falling off from the rope while descending the Imchache peak via the Ilam Peak at Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality-4, DSP Shaligram Sharma said. Vera had come along with a five-member team for a visit of Khumbu region on October 27.
Similarly, 48-year-old Ukranian national Exmansko Khomyanko Sehi has died today. He died in course of travelling to a place called Manju from Bainkar of Khumbu. He had stayed overnight at the Laligurans Hotel at Bainkar.
It is said he died all of a sudden at around 11.55 today while descending to Manju along with his wife. His body was brought to Lukla for fulfilling the required legal process and then was taken to Kathmandu for postmortem, police stated.
