The government has recalled Nepali Ambassador to Israel Niranjan Thapa on Thursday.
The Pushpa Kamal Dahal-led government had appointed Thapa as the Nepali Ambassador to Israel in 2016.
A Cabinet meeting held on November 11 had decided to recall Thapa and send Anjana Shakya to his place, government spokesperson and Minister for Information and Communications Gokul Prasad Baskota said.
The government had also decided to recall Nepali Ambassador to South Africa Amrit Bahadur Adhikari the same day.
Similarly, the government had decided to recommend Nilambar Achary and Udaya Raj Pandey as Nepal’s ambassador to India and Malaysia respectively.
Baskota said that the process to appoint them as the ambassadors have already been taken ahead.
