Tarun Dal, the youth wing of the Nepali Congress, has submitted a memorandum to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli demanding end to growing incidents of rape, corruption and price rise among others.

District Chairman of Khotang-chapter of Tarun Dal, Bhishan Rai submitted the memorandum to Oli through the office of Chief District Officer.

Demanding that the government implement the rule of law, the NC youth wing said that issues such as corruption at every government level, and market price rise and corruption during the procurement of wide-body airplanes by the Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC), failure to identify the perpetrators involved in the rape and murder of Nirmala Pant, among others are against the interest of the people and the country.

Likewise, the Tarun Dal has also warned of resorting to protests if the government does not take their demands seriously.
