Renault updates Duster with RXS trim in Nepal

Adhir Kumar Shrestha, general manager at Advanced Automobile said the company launched the Renault Duster RXS after seeing a spike in demand for SUVs in the domestic market. “The demand for SUVs, especially in petrol variants, has been growing in the market,” he said.
Duster RXS is a well-packaged and segment-breaking product, offering efficiency, reliability and value for money as well as an accessible premium SUV alternative to sedans, said the company in a press statement.
The Duster RXS variant is powered by a 1.5 litre dCi engine that churns out 85 hp of power and 200Nm of torque. Renault also sells the Duster with a diesel power train. The automatic variant of the model comes equipped with a six-speed X-Tronic CVT gearbox.
The newly launched vehicle delivers an average mileage of 13km and has disc brakes on the front with drum brakes on the rear.
According to the press statement, the RXS variant also gets dual airbags, engine mobiliser, central locking, power door locking and gun metal finished alloy wheels. Other features include steering mounted audio and phone controls, rear reading lamps and gear shift indicator and GPS navigation.
The vehicle features superior engineering, stylish design, safety and comfort. “The Duster range offers unmatched performance, drive ability and efficiency,” claims the company. The stylish and sturdy SUV has appealing looks that convey both solidity and dynamism with the exterior design reflecting its iconic SUV appeal, said the press statement.
Renault Duster RXS features a 7-inch touch screen infotainment system and supports Bluetooth, USB and Aux-in connectivity along with smartphone voice recognition.
According to the company, the newly launched Duster RXS gets air conditioner, heater, steering adjustment, power supply port, rear armrest, electrically adjustable rear view mirror and many other additional features.
The French automobile maker first launched the Duster in Nepal together with the KWID back in 2016.
