International Finance Corporation Vice President Stoiljkovic meets Foreign Minister Gyawali

International Finance Corporation’s Regional Vice President for the Asia and the Pacific, Nena Stoiljkovic, met with Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali on Friday. 

During the meeting held in Kathmandu, the duo discussed ways to unlock the private sector potential in Nepal and role IFC, private sector arm of the World Bank Group, could play. She reiterated IFC’s commitment to help Nepal prepare bankable projects while removing constraints in key sectors.  

Stoiljkovic’s visit comes only weeks before the Nepal Investment Summit. Earlier in the day, she also met with Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Investment Board Maha Prasad Adhikari and discussed current investment climate and ways to make Nepal more attractive for foreign investors.
